Laminated Steel Used in Scandinavian Knife Blades

Laminated Blade Diagram The blade is made from a compound steel which is a unique lamination of 18/8 Stainless Steel (A) and stainless razor blade steel (B). This lamination gives the knife a blade of exceptional strength and flexibility.
The edge is far sharper than that of a normal knife and it stays sharp. The core of razorblade steel has a hardness of 59 Rockwell “C”. Best of all, if it does get dull, this blade is easy to resharpen on a stone or steel.
